Quaternary Dynamics of the SecA Motor Drive Translocase Catalysis

The  team of Prof. Economou reveals that the protein export nanomotor SecA is highly dynamic. Gouridis et al, show that the nanomotor undergoes a finely orchastrated series of quaternary changes that are coupled to defined protein translocation steps.
