The Department of Systems & Networks is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art IT services
that ensure a reliable, secure, and high-performance digital environment. Its mission is to provide
the technological backbone that supports the research, educational,
and administrative activities of IMBB. By combining robust infrastructure with expert support,
the department enables researchers and staff to focus on innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence.

Data Storage Infrastructure

Four (4) Synology NAS storage systems, each with a capacity of 80 TB.

Server Infrastructure

Twenty (20) enterprise-grade DELL servers.

Deployed with VMware virtualization, enabling optimized resource utilization, scalability, and efficient workload management.
Backup & Disaster Recovery

Enterprise-level Veeam Backup & Replication platform.

Provides automated backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity assurance to safeguard institutional resources.
