Would you like to be more involved in IMBB? We invite all alumni to act as mentors, as part of our Mentoring and Career Track Scheme. The Mentoring scheme aims to support post doctoral researcher in their transition to the next step in their career.

We encourage mentors from industry, science administration, publishing or other alternative career paths to join our mentoring scheme.

What do we expect from an IMBB mentor?

IMBB mentors are expected to meet with one or two mentees once to twice a year, in person or remotely. The meeting should not take more than one hour.

Mentoring aims to help someone develop full potential by:

- Supportive learning relationship;

- Sharing knowledge and experience with the mentee;

- Encouraging an individual to improve their performance and qualities
