    March 2018

    IMBB Trangenesis Facility has initiated setting-up standardized mouse archiving services. To request sperm freezing and IVF service fill out the online form. Embryo-freezing service will be available in the coming months.

     

    Events

    August 2019

    The IMBB Animal Facility is a partner in the Greek node of the InfrafrontierGR/Phenotypos project: for phenotyping and archiving of model mammalian genomes ( www.infrafrontier.gr ). With available funding from the INFRAFRONTIER program and the IMBB, we further upgraded our infrastructure by: i) relocating/upgrading our High level SPF unit ii) installed an air shower and cage/bottle washer in our SPF unit iii) upgraded our transgenesis & cryopreservation unit with a new microscope unit, micromanipulators and electroporator iv) hired two new staff members and v) we are currently completing the set-up of our Institutes’ new mouse behavioral, electrophysiology and in vivo imaging laboratories.
