I graduated from the School of Pharmacy (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) in 2021 and I am a master’s student in the MSc program of Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (jointly offered by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB FORTH) and the University of Crete). I am currently conducting my 2-month rotation and working on a project investigating how overexpression of CYP9K1, a pyrethroid metabolic enzyme, is related to insecticide resistance in the malaria vector Anopheles gambiae.
Angelos Kozonakis received a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Crete. He just started his M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics (UoC). He is very interested in machine learning and multiomics data integration approaches.
Nikoleta received a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Crete. She is interested in understanding role of RNA modification m6A in R-loop resolution during DNA damage response.
