Plant Molecular Biology group of IMBB wins prize in the Research and Innovation competition organized by REDESTOS group

The Plant Molecular Biology group at IMBB, coordinated / led by Kriton Kalantidis, affiliate Researcher at IMBB/FoRTH won the second prize in the Research and Innovation competition organized by REDESTOS group, as part of the celebrations for the group’s 80^th anniversary.

The project concerned the development of an online reference platform for plant infections. The Bioinformatics Support Group at IMBB will be responsible to develop and administer the online platform.

The award ceremony took place on January 29 at the 2016 Agrotica Exhibition in Thessaloniki. The award was presented by the city’s Mayor Mr. Giannis Boutaris.
